I currently serve as a Careers Officer for UCLUNA's interim committee. My role includes expanding the society’s LinkedIn reach by connecting with alumni and potential speakers for events, and working on internal publications. I have been helping to find guest speakers for the upcoming UCLMUN conference. In particular, I wrote emails in French to invite relevant figures to speak at our conference, specifically for the European Commission committee run entirely in French. I am confident that with my multilingual skills, I can reach more organisations and deliver enlightening experiences pertinent to career services.

I am a first-year French with Management student, with almost 3 years’ experience in MUN, including planning and coordinating a high school conference. In a recent external MUN conference, I earned an Honourable Mention in recognition of my public speaking skills.

If appointed as Careers Director of UCLUNA, I would

(a) cultivate and maintain partnerships with organisations to create internship opportunities, job placements, and networking events;

(b) continue to support UCLUNA members in developing important skills, such as resume building and networking on LinkedIn;

(c) obtain and analyse feedback to identify any areas for improvement;

(d) promote diversity, equity and inclusion in the membership of UCLUNA; any UCL student is welcome to join us and participate in all activities, including but not limited to speaker events, embassy visits and MUN conferences.
