Society for Global Prosperity: Treasurer

My interest in the position of treasurer stems from my passion for promoting global prosperity and sustainable financial practices, both of which are crucial for the betterment of our student community and society at large. My academic background in Philosophy has helped me cultivate skills in critical thinking, ethical reasoning, global perspective and communication. This, coupled with my experience in journalism, public policy and charity work has provided me with a strong foundation in management and strategic planning.

I am particularly drawn to this role as I see it as an opportunity to contribute significantly to the society's mission of fostering a globally aware and prosperous community within our university. I am committed to applying my financial acumen towards supporting our initiatives and ensuring that we have the resources needed to achieve our goals. As a member of the original founding team of the society, I look forward to the possibility of continuing to contribute to the Society for Global Prosperity.
