My goals include increasing the quality of each event, ensuring that we attract students with various interests, and doing more partnerships with UCL societies and the respective societies at the other London universities. To do this I will begin by increasing the number of committee members, fostering a community of friendly and Portuguese-speaking people that others will want to be a part of. Even though our principal aim is to further propagate the lusophone culture, what is at our core will always be to create a place that feels like home for the Portuguese-speaking students at UCL.
