Pole Fitness Club: Post-graduate Representative

I'm a postgrad studying a MA in Digital Humanities, but I spend most of my time dancing instead of studying! I started pole this semester and it's quickly become my favourite activity to do. I love how pole dancing challenges me to push myself and it gives me such a great sense of achievement. Pole Fitness Society has given me a space where I feel safe and strong, so I'd like to be able to give back to the society by becoming more involved.

This society has been so welcoming and I'd love to be more involved by helping other postgrads. Being a postgrad is quite stressful and it's difficult to find time outside of studying, so I'd focus on doing postgrad events which are flexible in times and most important are a way to get rid of stress. Even though I've only just started pole dancing, I truly love it because it has made me so much more confident in myself and offers me an escape from all the postgrad stress. I've always struggled with social anxiety but with pole dancing that all goes away. I'd love to use this passion to reach out to other postgrads so we can all have fun pole dancing together!
