Philosophy Society : Vice-President

Hi guys, I’m Violet, a 3rd year Philosophy and Economics student, transition mentor, and the current interim Vice President for the society.

I draw from my past experience in leadership positions to ensure that our society smoothly and pro-actively delivers. Currently, I am overseeing the Bentham Digest with our president (and upcoming editors), and taking the lead in making society merch a reality! Other goals of mine are to have more relaxed discussion groups, inter-uni events and honouring the past committee’s ambitions with an end-year ball.

One thing I adore about our society is how diverse it is—in philosophical interests and in degree backgrounds. For this reason, I’ve established communication channels for society members to anonymously share their own suggestions. Ultimately I want to cater to and create tailored opportunities for our members.
