Justin Leung

Hi everyone! I’m Justin, a first-year Biomedical Sciences student at UCL, and I am standing for technical officer for the next academic year. Having been part of an orchestra for more than 12 years, music has always been an exceptional part of my life, and I wish to assist making it a similarly remarkable experience for everyone in the Music Society.

Knowing how exhausted everyone is outside of our stressful schedules, my priority as technical officer would be to ensure all our rehearsals and concerts run as smoothly as possible by thoroughly organising all the related logistics. Aside from that, I would also ensure quality photos and recordings of every concert are made and polished for social media posts. These would not only serve as valuable collections of our memories, but would also engagingly boost the publicity of the Music Society.

Having been the leader of the Symphony Orchestra and stage manager during my last two years of high school, these experiences have honed my organisational ability, and helped me establish the fundamental skills needed for coordinating the operations of future events.

I believe with the combination of prior experiences as well as my genuine passion for music, I will be suitable in the role of technical officer, and I look forward to contributing to the Music Society.
