Hooriya Fida-Hussain

As an avid viola player and a newly dedicated member of the String Orchestra, I am eager to utilise my social media skills and passion for music to showcase our amazing Music Society.

I have a passion for photography. My love for this has helped me win my school’s annual photography competitions three years in a row. As a Music Scholar, not only was I responsible for organising assembly peformances and musical events, I also was the videographer for key events. I enjoy capturing and sharing moments of talent and memories.

As well as showcasing what the Music Society has to offer. I would promote Instrument of the Month and visit different music groups at UCL. I am keen to reach out to professional musicians such as Sheku Kanneh-Mason for shoutouts and share their tips and advice on social media.

I like to keep an open mind. As well as my own ideas, I will incorporate and include ideas and suggestions by others as I am a great listener and communicator. I can actively engage with my peers and target audience to boost the online presence of our Music Society.
