Manon Ring

Hi everyone! I'm Manon and I’m thrilled to be running for VP! Leadership and management are pivotal skills in any career, yet often overlooked in formal education. As a politics student, I am passionate about filling this gap, offering fellow students the tools and knowledge to excel in their future endeavours! If appointed VP, my priorities will be:

  • Inclusive community: welcome students from all academic backgrounds, listen and respond to the needs of the society, foster internationalism and inclusivity

  • Career Development: Connect members with professionals through interactive speaker events and networking sessions

  • Skills development: career orientation sessions, application and CV workshops

Thanks to previous internships and extra-curricular activities, I believe I have developed a strong set of abilities necessary for this role: I own solid administrative and communication skills, and doing ballet at a National level developed my pragmatism and meticulousness. Allying this practice with IB training provided me with a solid work capacity while actively participating in numerous international MUNs developed my problem-solving and leadership skills.

Wishing to push the society in the right direction and continue the amazing work done by the current committee, I would be very eager to take on the role of VP. I look forward to bringing my passion and expertise to this exciting role!
