Kinesis Magazine: Marketing Officer

Hey! I'm standing to be your Marketing Officer for this academic year! As a 4th year MSci Zoology student, I am well aware of the importance of outreach within societies at UCL and want to bring this passion to Kinesis by collaborating with a broad range of societies. For example, widening the student audience of our podcasts by utilising my experience and connections with Rare FM. Since art and graphics is such an important part of the publication process of Kinesis, I want to reach out to relevant societies to increase uptake of potential artists. This is particularly important this year with the return of physical prints and I want our magazines to be as eye-catching as possible! It is crucial that the Kinesis audience is not just limited to a scientific audience and so I want to drive our social media campaign for guest speaker events with maximum outreach. As a masters student I want to be able to use connections, for example at the Natural History Museum, to organise some inspiring talks with true experts in their fields, but in an accessible manner that is welcoming for any student at UCL.
