Lakshmi Kowdley Hemanth

Hi! I’m Lakshmi, a second year Medical student from Kettering, and I am applying for the role of Sales and Marketing Officer!

I believe I am a great fit for this role due to my extensive experience in marketing, as well as my desire to give back to the community. Having grown up in a Hindu household, I have a deep insight into the beauty of the religion, which is essential to promote. I thoroughly enjoyed all the cultural events last year and also took part in Rangeela 2023 as part of the Nritya act. This drew me to apply as I would love to actively contribute to the success of the society’s events. Working within a team whose values resonate with mine would be a fulfilling and formative experience.

As a Bharatanatyam dancer, I have promoted the Indian classical arts on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok to help increase interactions with my dances. This involved using various photo and video softwares such as Canva and CapCut. Furthermore, I have had previous experience with designing promotional materials and managing social media as the Welfare Officer within my school’s Leadership Team and the Lead of Medical Society in Sixth Form. Through these experiences, I acquired a strong foundation in the skills required for this role, making me an asset to the team.

As your Sales and Marketing Officer, I would love to further develop these skills, become part of an amazing team, and be given the opportunity to give back to the community that I truly value being a part of.
