Genetics Society: Events Officer

I have been selected to be Events officer this year by the president of the society, Ichika. 
 

I have chosen to nominate myself for Events officer, as it is a role that I feel fits me very well as I have a L2 qualification in Events operations, as well as a strong interest in the arranging and managing of events.

I wish to be able to be a part of the main aspect of Genetics society, which I feel is the academic and social events held throughout each term, and feel the role of Events officer gives me that.

I am willing to dedicate my time and energy to exploring event ideas relevant to this society, taking into consideration cost, location, date, time and society availability, to ensure the best possible experience for all members, and this is something I am passionate to achieve each time an event is hosted.
