Environmental Law and Life Science Society: Social Officer

Hi, my name is Jade and I am a BA Geography undergraduate with a passion for confronting and tackling environmental issues. Environmental law is the career path I would like to pursue after my geography degree since it provides the ideal framework for addressing the complex and interconnected challenges posed by environmental issues. I see the role of the social officer for the Environmental Law and Life Science Society (ELLS) as an exciting opportunity to contribute to the environmental law community and promote engagement within this sector. I would have the ideal platform to raise awareness about environmental issues among my peers through the society’s social media as well as during the organised simple social events. These are both crucial for reaching a broader audience, connecting with like-minded individuals, and establishing the society as a reputable source for environmental law-related content. Therefore, if I am appointed to this role, I would be excited to create a vibrant and engaged community within the ELLS.
