Dutch and Flemish Society: Head of Academics

Hallo allemaal! (Hello everybody!) I am Justin, a second-year LLB Law student with a profound passion for the Dutch language and culture, and I am running for the position of Head of Academics.

One of my primary objectives as Head of Academics of the UCL Dutch and Flemish Society is to organise and lead Dutch language learning opportunities. I understand the difficulties and the often intricate aspects of mastering Dutch, as my journey in learning Dutch from scratch has given me a unique perspective on the challenges and nuances that beginners may struggle with. Drawing from my personal experience, I will arrange and tailor our language classes to address these challenges and make learning Dutch a more fun, enjoyable and effective experience for everyone.

Furthermore, I am committed to working closely with the President in arranging opportunities for our members to participate in academic competitions and events outside UCL. I will work tirelessly to facilitate our participation in these events and competitions, helping our members gain valuable experiences and recognition.
