For the past two years, I've been engaged with the Climate Action Society. Seeing the progress of fossil free careers over the past eighteen months has been a particular highlight.  My primary goal as treasurer is to encourage more individuals to join our cause and push UCL to intensify its efforts in combating climate change.

In the role of treasurer, I intend to build upon my current efforts. This involves conducting thorough research on UCL's connections to the fossil fuel industry and identifying the sources of its existing carbon emissions. I aim to increase involvement in climate action at UCL by drawing attention to these issues. 

I also hope to support the current committee in its role supporting and organising the society.
