Princess Bisnar
Hi everyone! I'm Princess and I'm a 2nd year Psychology student, currently in Spark. I started cheer last year in Charge and I would love to be your second Sponsorship and Volunteering secretary.
I have been working alongside committee sending emails to sponsors for funding and promoting the UCL Lightning "Helping Children Discover Cheerleading" project. I have volunteered for the project last year and I learned how to base a few stunts, motivate others and I loved seeing the progress the children have made!
I have a lot of ideas for other volunteering one-offs as I have had a quite a lot of volunteering experience, such as helping out at a charity shop and reading to children. I would love to emphasise how UCL Lightning is a positive club that love to give back to the community by contacting charities and organisations I'm already working with to our club!
For the sponsorship side, I have been a point of contact between the club and potential business sponsors, so this consists of finding businesses, keeping up with who you emailed and sending follow-up emails.
