Hello, everyone! :)
My name is Vanesa and I am a Bulgarian in my fourth year of studying Pharmacy. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to take on the role of the interim president of the society this term instead of being the Welfare Officer and Vice President which I was initially elected for. Unfortunately, this process was not finalised until a few days ago which has made executing events impossible. However, I have a number of events planned which I am now able and excited to execute. To make up for the lack of events since our taster session we are running events almost every week until the end of term including Belot and backgammon night on 10.11.2023, karaoke night on 16.11.2023 and Bulgarian folk dances workshop on 24.11.2023. If elected I will happily continue to plan and execute events including the ones already mentioned as well as some other such as celebrations of different Bulgarian holidays, Martenitsa making workshop and Bulgarian movie nights!
