Tirth Barot

I was nearly named 'Welfare Officer' at birth, take that as you will.  Having recently joined Parkour society, I have seen and experienced nothing but kindness and a welcoming environment,  therefore as Welfare Officer I hope to preserve give back and strengthen this positive culture that the club possesses, for example by providing direct access to  various support networks. I will be available during every session and easily recognisable by my loud voice, which is misleading since I can also shush and listen to any one of your concerns or simply to have a quick chat. I co-ran a society during my 6th form with a couple of friends that  aimed to create a safe space for many of our peers during stressful exam times, and one that also practiced inclusivity and a zero tolerance against hate policy. Coupling this with my experience as someone new into this society, I feel that I can empathise with both new and experienced members. I will prioritise the well-being of everyone within the club  and hope to cultivate honesty and support.

Amy Ko

I've had a great time over the past month in this society! That's why I want to help make sure everyone also feels comfortable, included, and able to enjoy being here.
As a somewhat athletically challenged person, I understand that there can be physical and mental barriers in parkour, but I'll do my best to support everyone. My previous experience as a vice chair in a music society has taught me how to manage feedback, communicate effectively, and coordinate events — skills I'd love to bring to this role! I hope to foster a friendly environment where everyone feels safe to try new things, grow at their own pace, and enjoy themselves without pressure. Feel free to reach out to me about anything, big or small — I'm always happy to listen; no judgement, just a friendly ear!

Sanjay Ashwin

Hello again, I'm still Sanjay and please consider me for welfare officer. If you're not happy, I'm not happy and the club's not happy. As a more senior member of the club I have a good idea of the areas of concern that might arise as well as issues outside of the club too. I'm always available and happy to help
