Assalamualaikum,

As the current  interim President of UCL Muslimah Careers , I have  laid the foundation for an exciting and purposeful year ahead- one built on empowerment, connection, and professional growth for Muslim women at UCL. Over the past months, I’ve led the society through a period of progress and direction-setting, successfully hosting events and ensuring that your feedback directly informs our initiatives. This approach has allowed us to create meaningful opportunities, even as a newer society, and demonstrates my commitment to making the society responsive to the needs of its members.

I’m standing for President because I am deeply passionate about creating spaces where young Muslim women’s voices are not only heard but actively shape every initiative we deliver. My vision for the year ahead includes:

  • Career panels tailored to your interests: Spotlighting Muslim women professionals across diverse industries, providing real-life insights, and showing that success and faith can go hand-in-hand.
  • Workshops on balancing work and faith: Equipping you with practical strategies to navigate professional environments while staying true to your values and identity.
  • Community-building events: Creating  sisterhood, mentorship, and a strong support network within UCL and beyond, so every member feels seen, supported, and connected.

I am committed to making Muslimah Careers an empowering platform where every member has the guidance, support, and opportunities to thrive academically.
