Hi everyone! Throughout my lifetime, I have clearly come up with an opinion that leadership is never about titles - it’s about initiative, accountability, and connection. And I adore that, which is why I’m standing for First Year Representative: to make sure our voices are not only heard, but shape how our society grows.
I have always been driven by the belief that leadership starts with listening. As a former Head Boy, I learned how to turn students’ ideas into real, measurable results. I had several experiences of improving communication systems, leading creative projects, and organizing school-wide initiatives. They taught me how to unite people behind a shared goal and deliver outcomes that matter.
Here, my focus is clear: I want first-year students to feel genuinely included in the society’s direction, not just present at events. I’ll work to create mentorship links between first-years and senior members, run interactive “Leadership Roundtables” to share perspectives, and launch skill-building sessions designed by first-years, for first-years.
What makes me different is that I don’t just want to represent people, but to empower them to lead from day one. I’m not running for this role because I want a title; I’m running because I want our first-year cohort to leave a legacy of action, not just attendance.
Vote Rustam: for leadership that listens, learns, and leads forward!
