Hello everyone. I’m a 20-year-old Masters student in Software Systems Engineering, and I am applying to be your next Chief Operational Officer.
This role is the backbone of our society’s efficiency, and I possess the systematic, organizational skills necessary to manage its demands flawlessly.
My focus will be on optimising our day-to-day operations:
• Administration: Handling all member emails and Instagram queries promptly, acting as a reliable point of contact for the club.
• Range Sessions: Working closely with the Chief Coordinator to ensure smooth logistics and guaranteeing proper committee attendance at every session.
• Team Support: Assisting the Team Captain to ensure match numbers are met when required.
I will bring precision and proactive communication to the committee, ensuring all administrative functions run without a hitch. Vote for me to guarantee a seamless, professional, and reliably managed UCL Golf Society this year.
Ive been very interested in golf and would like to help the team out, where needful.
Hi, my name is Daniela and I am standing as a candidate to be the next COO, because I believe I could make things better for the UCL golf club with my creative ideas and dynamic skills. During my time in the university I had the opportunity to meet people from different places and grow as a person learning to develop my social skills and expand my knowledge in different areas. I started playing golf through friends from uni and events for work. I’m very happy for the outcome of this opportunity and I know I have a lot to offer as I can bring the perspective of someone used to perform in a professional environment mixed with the student lifestyle, and I’d be willing to help others when needed and support all the members in achieving their goals within the club. Also I am looking forward to learn more from other members from the committee and exchange ideas and opinions about the fascinating golf world.
I have enjoyed being part of the golf society since the start of this term and it would be nice to give back by helping with operations and the general running of the society. I really do want to try help grow the society as all the members are very welcoming and the events are amazing, so it would be great to show how fun golf can be to more UCL students, and see even more faces at events and practices. Also hopefully being on committee will allow me to sandbag in scramble competitions! (just kidding).
Hi, I’m Kamil! I’ve been competing with the UCL Golf Team for the past two years, and it’s honestly been one of the most rewarding parts of my university experience. Representing UCL alongside teammates who share the same passion for the game has made me feel part of something special.
Outside UCL, I play for the Moroccan national team, which has taught me a lot about commitment, teamwork, and leadership, values I want to bring into this role. Unfortunately, I’m currently recovering from an injury, but that’s only strengthened my motivation to contribute to the club in a different way.
As Chief Operating Officer, I want to help the society run smoothly, grow its community, and make sure every member, from beginners to our most competitive players feels included, supported, and excited to be part of UCL Golf.
