Football Club (Women's): 4th Team Captain

My name is Marcela, and I would love to be the captain for the team Football 4s. I’m quite laid back (unless you try to turn the heating on in my flat) but when it comes to the team I am dedicated and driven. I played for my high school team for four years, teaching me the importance of communication, consistency, and showing up for each other both on and off the pitch (especially Phineas)!

 I am goal-oriented (see what I did there) and eager to build a strong team. I strongly believe in creating an environment where everyone feels included and confident, regardless of experience. More than anything I can’t wait to get the best out of every match and every player to keep building the supportive and strong community we have. Let’s go team!!!

Hi Everyone!!

I'm Lilith a final year MSci Biology student and active member of UCLWFC 4s!

For those of you that don't know me, I joined the club last year as part of the 4th team (socially) and am still on the 4s this year. 

I was so happy to have found football last year, and am only sorry that I didn't find it sooner.  Since joining the club, I feel that the benefits to my physical and mental health have been huge, and owe this not only to weekly training sessions but also the other wonderful members of this society.

I have always loved football, from going to the pub to watch matches with family, being an avid player at school and enjoying kickabouts with friends on local pitches, so feel that being the 4s captain (alongside Jennie) as well as being a representative for UCLWFC, would be a cherry on top of the cake for me during my final year of studies!

At the moment, I am helping Jennie run the 4s training sessions on Tuesdays, coming up with drills, helping with admin and just being an friendly face for new and returning members to chat to! I feel that it is a natural progression for me to step up for the role 4s captain, as I would love to continue working with Jennie and other committee members on delivering training, socials and everything in between to the best of our ability.

I don't have much else to say other than I would be extremely honoured and excited to be a 4s captain and would be grateful to anyone who votes for me.
