My name is Lena and I am running for Head of Partnerships. I am a second-year student in European Social and Political Studies (ESPS), specialising in Economics and German. I grew up in Calais (France) — yes, the place where you can take the ferry ;) — but what many people might not realise is that it’s a region shaped by French, British, and Flemish influences. Growing up there gave me a deep appreciation for European cultural diversity. I also co-created an online student-led review, which we made a point of keeping multilingual and multimedia. This experience allowed me to gain practical skills in website design, editing, and content planning. In addition, I worked as a graphic design intern for the NGO BUND Berlin, which helped me further refine my visual communication skills. As the founder and editor of an independent review, I have experience managing a small writing team and coordinating guest submissions — which is why I also feel confident in supporting contributors to the EISPS Society’s
