Hi everyone, I’m Rustam, and I’m running to be Marketing Director of the Entrepreneurs Society because I believe the art of marketing isn’t just an accessory, it’s the engine that drives ideas, builds brands and turns opportunity into action.
Over the years I’ve sharpened the exact kind of experience this role demands. As Head Boy, I coordinated whole-school campaigns, rallied student voices, and translated ideas into high-impact outcomes. I’ve also led creative initiatives like managing promotion workflows. These experiences taught me how to balance innovation with structure. That means when I say I will lead our marketing, I mean: bold concepts and flawless execution.
What I will bring as your Marketing Director:
- A unified brand identity for the Society;
- High-quality content and campaigns that reflect the entrepreneurial spirit;
- A feedback-loop mindset: we’ll track what works, adapt fast, and actively involve YOU, because marketing isn’t done to people; it’s done with them.
Why me and not someone else? Because I don’t just have “marketing interest”, I bring proven leadership, creative execution and operational discipline. I’ve seen ideas through from conception to delivery, I’ve built teams, I’ve responded to feedback, and I’ve delivered results.
Vote for me if you want a Marketing Director who will amplify our Society’s voice, build real momentum for members and make sure our brand is not just seen, but remembered. Let’s turn our entrepreneurs’ energy into a movement.
Hello UCL Entrepreneurs! I'm Christy, and I believe the most powerful marketing tool we have is our community's own story.
As someone who has been in the trenches organizing major events, I know the chaos and the triumph. I've learned how to build anticipation, manage communications under pressure, and most importantly, how to make every single attendee feel valued and excited to return.
As your Marketing Director, I will:
· Spotlight Our Members: Share the journeys of our members to inspire and attract new talent.
· Create Can't-Miss Content: From teaser videos to insider looks, our content will be as dynamic as our community.
· Guarantee Packed Events: My track record in event logistics and promotion means I know how to move people from "interested" to "registered."
I want to market this society with the same passion and precision I bring to every event I organize. Let's work together to make the UCL Entrepreneur Society the most talked-about community on campus.
I'm standing for Marketing Director because I believe UCLe's impact depends on how powerfully we communicate our vision — inspiring more students to engage, collaborate, and create. Having worked closely with the society this year, I've seen how strategic marketing can transform an event from an idea into a movement. I want to build on that momentum by elevating UCLe's digital identity and storytelling across all platforms.
My approach blends creativity with strategy. I aim to make our brand not only recognisable but aspirational — highlighting the people, ideas, and stories behind entrepreneurship at UCL. Through consistent branding, data-driven content planning, and partnerships with other societies, I want to amplify our presence both online and across campus.
Beyond social media, I plan to develop campaigns that connect emotionally - spotlighting our founders, showcasing our events, and turning every workshop into an experience worth sharing
Ultimately, I'm standing because I care deeply about UCLe's mission. I want to ensure every student who interacts with us — whether through a post, a workshop, or a panel feels inspired to take their first step into entrepreneur!
You should vote for me for marketing representative as I have the skills needed to excel in this role. This position requires a creative leader who takes initiative and can not only collaborate well with his society but also manage himself and his team effectively. Since GCSE art, I developed an interest in design, both graphic and website design. This gave me the required creativity to excel at marketing services, societies and even projects. This creative thinking will continue to help me in marketing entrepreneur society. Over the past few years, having not only captained sports team, but also co-led societies such as entrepreneurs society and investment society, I learnt the leadership and collaboration skills that I need to take initiative and get the most out of the teams I am working with. Balancing the IB diploma program taught me more about organisation and time management. These skills ensure that marketing projects will run smoothly to maximise students experiences and bring in the most interest. Finally, I developed my communication and collaboration skills by being extroverted. From actively seeking conversations, connections and opportunities, I learnt how to effectively market myself and opportunities to individuals and groups to maximise outreach and interest of students. These skills are indispensable in a marketing representative looking to surpass expectations. Hence, If you want to make the marketing this year the best it can be,Vote me for representative!
I understand that marketing isn’t just about making noise, it’s about making people care. I want to give UCL Entrepreneurs a brand that feels bold, creative, and impossible to scroll past. Whether it’s clever campaigns, catchy captions, or turning a simple poster into something people actually stop to read, I’d make sure our content reflects the same innovation our members bring to their ideas.
I’ve got an eye for design, a brain that loves strategy, and a slightly concerning obsession with making things look aesthetically satisfying and organised (need to get an OCD check-up). My goal is to make our events go from “oh, that’s happening” to “wait, I need to be there.” UCL has thousands of students, I’ll make sure every single one knows who we are, what we do, and why they should definitely follow us before the algorithm even tries to hide our post.
