Hi everyone!! I’m Chloe and I am super excited to be running for captain this year! I would love to be your captain this season as cheer has become more than just a sport to me - it is my safe space! Joining cheer has completely shaped my university experience and I would love to create that same feeling for everyone else 🎀
Being a captain means leading by example - willingness to put in hard work, commitment, and staying positive even in the hardest of times. I want to create an environment where every member of our team feels supported and safe enough to come to me to express any worries or concerns!
My plans as captain include:
- Regular team bonding events!
- Athlete of the month awards!
- Themed trainings!
- Increased communication between the team, coach and committee!
- ICC Coach Karaoke part 2! 😉🎤
- End of season event to celebrate our achievements!
Strike is more than just a team - we are a family and we are all driving towards one goal 🏆🥇 As captain, I will make sure we are not only performing at our best as a team, but also connecting as one beyond training to ensure each and every one of us feel valued on and off the mat.
