93% Club Society: Secretary

Hi everyone! I’m Alexandra, a second-year Law student, and I’m excited to nominate myself for 93% Club Society Secretary.

I joined the 93% Club Society recently and have quickly developed a strong commitment to its mission. Coming from a state-school background and aspiring to enter commercial law (a field where state-educated students are massively underrepresented), I understand the challenges of pursuing a career with limited access to networks, guidance or resources. I would be proud to support the Club’s work in promoting fairer access to opportunities for all!

I believe I'm a strong fit for the Secretary role because: 

• I’ve developed strong organisational skills through managing several student writing projects under tight deadlines. As Head of M&A at UK Legal Pulse, I edit posts for accuracy and clarity, showing great attention to detail.
• Volunteering as a Writing and Administrative Assistant at a not-for-profit company, I conducted legal research, compiled reports and supported daily operations, building strong research and administrative skills and experience.
• Working as an activity instructor leading large groups at half-term camps strengthened my ability to communicate clearly and adapt to different audiences. As the UCL LittleLaw Campus Ambassador, I’m further developing my communication skills by promoting opportunities to students.

I’m eager to bring my skills to help the committee run events smoothly and ensure every student can access the opportunities they deserve!
