My name is Elliot and I'm a state-schooled first-year studying Politics and IR, standing to help strengthen the voices of first-years in the 93% society 💪

In my position I would:

  • Relay first-year thoughts of the society and ideas for events to the committee
  • Encourage participation amongst first-years in all the opportunities the society provides (like the social mobility factory which I wish more first-years came to!!)  
  • Ensure the society is welcoming to first-years by helping to organise events that appeal to them (movie nights, festive activities and of course pub socials 🙏)
