Lincoln Cheng

After a rewarding journey in Model United Nations, where I served as President of the UCL United Nations Association and Secretary General of UCLMUN Edition X, I’m excited to bring my leadership experience to the Volunteering Society. Organizing large-scale events and fostering an inclusive community within MUN has equipped me with the skills to guide our society forward with dedication and vision.

As President, my goal is to strengthen the impact of the Volunteering Society and create a community of like-minded students committed to service and social good, by:

Expanding Volunteering Opportunities - broadening our network of partnerships with local and international organizations, creating diverse opportunities that cater to various interests and causes. Whether it’s environmental initiatives, education programs, or social care, my goal is to offer members meaningful experiences that align with their passions.

Building a Supportive and Connected Community - fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and connected. Through regular meetings, interactive workshops, and team-building activities, I aim to create a supportive network that inspires members to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and work together toward impactful volunteering initiatives.

Showcasing Members’ Contributions - recognizing and celebrating the work of our members. I’d start regular features highlighting volunteer stories, sharing members’ achievements on social media, and planning celebrations.
