Surgery and Interventional Science Society: Networking and Events Officer

Hey everyone, my name's Annus and I'm running for the Networking and Events officer role! I believe I am fit for this role as I have proven experience of planning, organising, and running events, notably for UCL Careers, spanning from networking socials, information sessions, all the way to sitting alongside renowned researchers/academics, cohosting important science panels. I have also contributed in event planning and operations as a Student Ambassador for the Department of Medical Physics & Biomedical Engineering.

I am in my 2nd year of BE Biomedical Engineering; I believe the Surgery and Interventional Science Society is very useful towards gaining important insight and having access to a broad range of opportunities within the realm of engineering and healthcare, and with your support, I am sure that I can help make a difference!
