Surgery and Interventional Science Society: Undergraduate Officer

The Surgery and Interventional Society has a huge potential to assist people with similar interests and mindsets come together and help them improve their skillset and connections. As a second-year student, driven by a genuine interest in technology in healthcare and a commitment to enhancing our society's impact I want to participate in improving everybodies experience within the society. With a fresh perspective and enthusiasm for the field, I aim to bring creative ideas, improve resources for members, and foster an inclusive community for everyone in this society. Here  is how I can contribute:

• Workshops and Events: Help organize hands-on workshops tailored to enhancing skills and procedures which can add value to everyones CV, and making them accessible to newer students eager to get involved early.
• Networking Opportunities: Facilitate connections with professionals and mentors in the field, including guest speakers and alumni events.
• Peer Support: Encourage student collaborations, to build confidence and foundational skills within the society.

I am excited to have the opportunity to be able to represent the undergraduate perspective within the society and help this society evolve into an essential step needed to succeed within everyone's career pathway.
