Like many other of the skateboarders I have met during club meets, I am relatively new to skateboarding. However I have the passion and the motivation to share what I have learned with others. I enjoy honing my craft and mastering the basics of skateboarding, and believe that through much trial and error I have a lot of experience to share with other beginners. Recently, I was able to help someone trying to work towards an ollie, although they knew roughly what it looked like they struggled to know where to start. I advised them using the knowledge and experience I have gained firsthand, and by communicating effectively I was able to help them jump with more of a pop, which is a difficult first step in achieving an ollie. I really enjoyed guiding and instructing, which is why I believe I would make a good candidate for the role of Skateboard Captain.
