Rare FM: Head of Design

I have a strong interest in helping out with rare fm and getting more involved with the community. Many of my friends are members of the society (ems/rare fm) and it would be nice to give something back to everyone and to help the radio continue running. 

What draws me to this role is that I have a decent level of graphic design skill, and would love to contribute to event posters, radio posters etc. I also actually enjoy making designs it’s a fun hobby of mine - this role would sort of give me a goal/target to work to in improving my work.  Would be happy to improve the aesthetic of the studio too and have several ideas which I’m keen to discuss.

Currently in the process of designing the radio schedule for rarefm.

As an avid music lover and keen member in RareFM, I am enthusiastic to provide a creative perspective to the society through meeting alike-minded people through the society. With my role, I am eager to promote Under City Lights to be one of the best student-run magazine. With my role, I plan to:

• Organise the magazine rollout in a cohesive manner.
• Encourage society participation into the creative process by enlisting a 'creative team', specialised in software usage to help the production of the magazine.
• Streamline creative brainstorming for the magazine by incorporating submissions and workshops for budding graphic designers/illustrators/photographers keen on the visual part of music. 

• And so much more!

  As someone fascinated with the relationship between visual design and music, I believe I would be able to provide an excited and unique energy into the role.
