Psychology and Education Society: Events Coordinator

As someone deeply passionate about mental health and building supportive communities, I’m running for Events Coordinator because I believe in the power of coming together for a common cause. University can be an incredibly isolating experience, and with rising rates of loneliness among students, it’s more important than ever to create spaces where we feel genuinely connected.

If elected, my goal is to plan events that prioritize inclusivity, mental well-being, and fun. From engaging workshops on mental health awareness to casual get-togethers that allow us to unwind, I want every event to feel welcoming and impactful. I envision activities that foster real connections—whether it’s through a movie night, a wellness workshop, or collaboration with other societies to broaden our community even more.

I’m dedicated to making this society a source of comfort, support, and belonging for everyone involved. I hope to gain the opportunity of making this year memorable for all Psychology with Education members, filled with events that bring us together, support our mental well-being, and remind us that we’re all in this together.
