Udaiveer Parihar

As UCL Medtech’s Marketing Officer, I will aim to expand our reach, facilitate inter-organisational and inter-society events and develop a more widely known public image as a preeminent society.

Fostering Engagement

I aspire to strengthen our society's visibility as a community for personal development, learning, and collaboration in the healthcare and associated tech industries. I will help create campaigns that raise awareness and draw eager new members to our society by creating a compelling narrative of events, workshops and speakers via storytelling on social media and online.

Expanding Collaboration

Marketing isn’t just about promotion—it’s about creating connections. Through my role, I hope to cultivate partnerships with other societies, departments, and external organizations. These partnerships will enable us to co-host events, share resources, and broaden our reach which will help provide members with a higher quality of service from the society.

Passion and Dedication

Above all, I am deeply passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology and the possibility it brings for transformative change. Serving as a marketing officer will allow me to contribute my skills to help develop the brand of a society that truly matters to me. I am committed to making the UCL MedTech Society a thriving, inclusive, and innovative community.

Thank you for reading and considering me for the role of Marketing Officer.

Helen Zhang

Hi, I’m Helen! I’m excited to run for Marketing Officer, as I believe my passion for MedTech combined with my marketing experience will allow me to contribute effectively to the growth and outreach of the society. Having worked in marketing over the past few summers, I have hands-on experience with digital media, content creation, and outreach initiatives. I’m confident these skills will help us increase our visibility and engagement, particularly in promoting events and educational opportunities.

I understand the importance of effective marketing, as I’ve personally benefitted from discovering events through online platforms and social media that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise. For example, I found the MedTech mentorship scheme last year incredibly influential in my university journey as it introduced me to knowledge, skills, and connections I couldn’t have gained elsewhere. It’s experiences like these that drive my commitment to ensure that others have the same access to impactful programs and resources.

As Marketing Officer, my primary goal would be to ensure our events and opportunities reach as many interested individuals as possible, maximising their impact. I look forward to working with everyone else to foster a welcoming, informed, and inspired MedTech community - as well as helping others discover the unique opportunities that MedTech offers!
