Hi all, I’ve been co-running the tuesday jam since term started, and would love the opportunity to continue doing so. I play tenor and alto and currently failing to teach myself keys, but I love jazz and being surrounded by music. It’s been great to meet everyone so far, both new and familiar faces, and I hope that I can continue making the jam enjoyable for everyone!
The jazz jams have been a highlight of my start at UCL. They've been a great place to unwind after a day of lectures or doing coursework, as well as where I've met some really great friends. I'd love to be a part of organising and running this event because I want to share the enjoyment I get from the jams with everyone that attends. I also have some ideas for themed nights, like 'Bird related tunes' or Afrobeat!
