I am applying for the Vice President position in the Italian Society because I am passionate about fostering a welcoming, dynamic community where members can connect, learn, and celebrate Italian culture. Having led the International Committee at Cheltenham College, where I organized events to promote cultural diversity for over 200 students, I am confident in my ability to support the society’s initiatives and work collaboratively to enhance members' experiences.

In this role, I would focus on creating inclusive events that celebrate Italian heritage and foster a sense of belonging within UCL's diverse community. My multilingual abilities—English, French, Spanish, German, and Arabic—would allow me to connect effectively with our international membership base and collaborators, expanding our society’s reach and impact. I aim to bring in fresh perspectives and create spaces where members feel valued and engaged, whether through cultural events, social gatherings, or educational workshops.

As Vice President, I would work closely with the President and committee to ensure our activities resonate with members' interests and needs. I am excited about the opportunity to build on the society’s successes and help make this year memorable for everyone. I believe my experience in leadership, combined with a deep appreciation for Italian culture, makes me well-suited to support the society in achieving its goals and creating a thriving community.
