Ice Club: Figure Secretary

Figure skating has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. It’s not only been a source of joy and accomplishment but also a way for me to connect with people who share my passion. Serving as the Figure Skating Secretary would be an incredible opportunity for me to help others discover the same excitement and sense of community that skating has brought me over the years. 

The Ice Club specifically has given me and others an amazing way to start or get back into skating, and I would love to use my experience to help it grow even more. If elected, I’d work on making skating more accessible, organising more events and training. I know off-ice sessions have been mentioned by the current secretaries and I’d love to help out organising those. Overall, I just want to continue creating a welcoming space where anyone can enjoy this amazing sport and just have some fun!

I would love to be the Figure Skating Secretary for UCL Ice Club because it offers a unique opportunity to combine my passion for the sport with my organizational skills. Having been involved in figure skating for years, I understand the dedication and teamwork required to make a club thrive. As Secretary, I would play a crucial role in ensuring smooth communication within the club and between members, the committee, and external partners.
