I am eager to serve as Vice President of the Georgian Society because I believe in the power of community and the importance of fostering connections among those who share an appreciation for Georgian culture and history. Over the years, my passion for Georgian traditions, heritage, and language has grown deeply, and I am excited by the opportunity to contribute to the preservation and promotion of this rich cultural legacy within our community.
The Georgian Society provides a unique platform to celebrate and showcase the vibrant traditions that define Georgia’s identity, from its food and music to its literature, arts, and social customs. As Vice President, I would have the privilege and responsibility to build on this platform, engaging with both long-time members and newcomers, and helping to cultivate an environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and mutual respect.
One of my primary goals in this role would be to enhance the sense of unity and inclusiveness within the Society. Many individuals are drawn to the Georgian Society out of a shared love for our culture, but often, there are barriers—whether linguistic, generational, or geographical—that prevent people from fully connecting. I would focus on organizing events, workshops, and cultural exchanges that bridge these gaps, making Georgian culture accessible and enjoyable for all members, regardless of their background or level of familiarity.
