Georgian Society: Communications Manager

I am excited to apply for the role of Communications Officer for the Georgian Society because I believe effective communication is key to building a strong, connected community. My passion for Georgian culture, combined with my skills in digital media and writing, positions me to help raise the Society’s profile and engage members in meaningful ways.

As Communications Officer, my goal would be to ensure that all members are informed, inspired, and connected. I would focus on creating engaging content for newsletters, social media, and the website, keeping members up to date on events, news, and opportunities to get involved. I also want to highlight the diverse aspects of Georgian culture, from food and music to history and language, so that both longtime members and newcomers feel welcome and excited about participating.

Clear, consistent communication will be my top priority. I would work closely with other committee members to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that the Society’s message is coherent, inclusive, and accessible. By amplifying our activities and reaching out to potential new members, I aim to foster a greater sense of community and pride in our shared heritage.

I am committed to using my communication skills to help the Georgian Society grow, connect, and thrive, ensuring that our culture continues to be celebrated and shared with a wider audience.
