Hello everyone! I am excited to be running for the Events Officer position! I believe an Events Officer should be someone who is both sociable and detail-oriented, capable of managing communication with a range of partners whilst cultivating healthy relationships with students, and having honed traits like responsibility and time management, I believe I would be suitable for the position.

I have acted as your Events Officer in the interim since August 2024, being a key point of contact between the community and the committee, and organising a range of successful social events in recent months, namely the (several) Meltdown socials and Red Bull Gaming Sphere inter-university Halloween event. As the interim Valorant Admin, I also managed the sign-ups for NSE/NUEL and hosted online customs. Armed with essential communication and collaboration skills through my law degree and the UCL Law Society Client Interviewing Competition, I am confident in my ability to cooperate with the committee — all of whom are my dear friends — and consolidate lengthy event information into simpler terms for your convenience.

I believe my attention to detail and genuine passion for the gaming community make me a suitable candidate for the position. With considerable experience already working with your beloved committee and engaging with the gaming community, I hope that a formal election into the Events Officer role will allow me to be even more proactive in planning exciting events for the society. :)
