Hi all UCL foodies!
I am running for Food Society President because I’m not just passionate about food - I’m passionate about creating a community where everyone feels welcome. Whether you just enjoy good food and company or consider yourself a food connoisseur, I want to build a society that caters to all tastes!
I already have ideas I am excited to launch if elected including:
🍝 🍣🍜🍧🥞 💸 Exploring London’s best food spots on a budget I’ll find the best student discounts, street food, soft-launch deals and set menus (while avoiding tourist traps!) so we can explore delicious restaurants with cuisines from across the world while keeping it affordable. Restaurants/markets I have in mind include Haidilao Hot Pot and Lower Marsh Market.
🎪 Food Festivals I would organise group trips to upcoming London food festivals in 2025 like Veganuary Fest, Pub in the Park and Taste of London.
🎤🍗 Sunday Roasts A comedy roast/show followed by a roast dinner! This would be a collab with Comedy Society who I have approached about this and like the idea!
