European Horizons Society: Head of Events

Hi everyone! My name is Lena, and I'm a second year International, Social and Political Studies student. As a dual citizen of Germany and the US, I'm particularly interested in transatlantic relations, the future of democracy in the face of global populist narratives, and the influence of race, gender, and class in political discourse. I believe that, now more than ever, it is vital to make our voices heard as young people and to participate meaningfully in politics – and European Horizons is a great place to engage in these discussions! Because of this, I am running to be Head of Events and would love to join the EH Committee! As Head of Events, I look forward to planning more speaker events, debates, and workshops for members to develop career-specific skills. And of course, I would be thrilled to join the amazing EH Committee full of wonderful people :)
