Saluton, Rytsas, Drem Yol Lok! Having been an avid conlang creator and enthusiast for over a decade, I would be absolutely thrilled to take up this post! Here is some relevant info about me:

  • I have done deep-dive analyses of several famous conlangs to learn more about their creation and implementation, namely Dovahzul from Skyrim and High Valyrian from Game of Thrones.
  • I have created several con-/artlangs of my own, for various purposes and settings including Dungeons & Dragons and two different indie game development projects. I have also already helped others to learn about linguistics and try their own hand at conlanging!
  • I have been learning Esperanto on and off since 2019 and am fascinated by the prospects of conlang utilisation; my undergraduate dissertation was titled "“Vivu Esperanto!”: An investigation into the online promotion and uptake of the Esperanto constructed language", and evaluated the potential for the internet to serve as a "safe-space" and launchpad for Esperanto and other constructed/minority languages. Not to brag, but it won me Birkbeck's Michel Blanc prize for scoring top of my cohort!

In short, I am totally mad about conlanging and, as Conlanging Officer, would do my utmost to help people get their own projects living and breathing! Multan Dankon, Kirimvose, Nox!
