Hello, my name is Gaby and I am currently pursuing my Masters of Engineering in Sustainable Built Environments, Energy and Resources. With a robust passion for both sustainability and engineering, I would love to extend that very enthusiasm into UCL's Engineering Without Borders Society as its Activity Coordinator! As one of the few undergraduates in the society, I uniquely stand out with the multitude of benefits that I offer:
1. Widening the EWB society by attracting the more than 25,000 undergraduate students at UCL with a fresh and new perspective seated in the committee, as well as strengthening the intermingling of undergraduates and postgraduates within the society.
2. A keen willingness to plan and organize activities with my personality as a "planner person" who is always on top of things! (especially with the high coordination needed to plan the Wales trip)
3. A creative mind that intends on arranging meaningful and exciting activities for the society, including fundraising for the Wales trip, collaborations with other societies, society socials, panel events with professionals in the industry, and volunteering opportunities with EWB, just to name a few!
If the opportunity does come to me, I would be gladly ready to give my all into coordinating activities for EWB. I appreciate and thank you for reading my whole statement!
