Connect.ed Society: Research Mentorship Programme Officer

If I were selected as a Research Mentorship Program Officer, I would foster a positive mentorship environment bridging the gap between aspiring undergraduate students and postgraduate researchers who are currently undertaking their research. I aim to ensure each mentee gains valuable insights into research, methodologies and subsequent academic write-up process. For mentors, I will support a flexible experience that enhances their communication, leadership, and teaching skills. Utilising both of these I believe I can build a mentorship program that cultivates curiosity, drives innovation, and inspires students to pursue research beyond their university degree.
