As an active member of UCL BIS last year, having participated in both the Applied Projects and Nudgeathon, I would like to help bring such brilliant opportunities to other society members in this new academic year. For instance, I benefited greatly from participating in last year's UCL x LSE Nudgeathon (2024) competition, where my team designed an intervention for UNICEF to boost HPV vaccination among young girls in low- and middle-income countries. In the event, not only was I inspired by how behavioural science can be harnessed to tackle global health challenges, I learnt so much by collaborating with students with diverse experiences and backgrounds, including undergraduate, Mater's and PhDs students studying at UCL, LSE, and Cambridge.

During the competition, I also got to speak to some of the former Nudgeathon Directors, and recognised the challenges the role faces. If elected as Nudgeathon Director, I am excited to apply the knowledge I gained from my experience to organise Nudgeathon for 2025 and provide the contestants with the resources and mentorship they need to excel (but also have fun!). I am prepared to use my skills in sponsor outreach, event planning, communication, etc. to ensure a positive experience for all contestants and guests - get excited for the awards ceremony and prizes coming your way!
