Behavioural Innovations Society: Communications Director

Hi! My name is Natasza and I'm running for Communications Director, having taken up the role for the past several weeks. Joining the BIS last year opened a whole new realm of possibilities about my future, thanks to its informative seminars, career fair, and nudgeathon. Seeing the positive impact the society can have, I would greatly appreciate being part of the committee and contributing to its growth, and helping to educate and inspire others. Effective communication is vital for the community and society to grow and maximise its outreach, especially given its novelty as a field.

Acting as communications officer for the past several weeks, I have learned how to adapt to the role and would continue to ensure our output is clear and simple to understand, which is key to effective communication, yet simultaneously engaging and informative. Creativity and organisation is of great importance for such a task, both skills which I was able to foster in previous communications roles - marketing prefect of my school, and editor of the school-run magazine. So, I would ensure your vote for me wouldn't go to waste!
