Application of Psychedelics Society: Social Events Officer

Hello!
My name is Jasmine; I'm a third-year psychology student whose interest in psychedelic research, history, culture, and theory has grown throughout my degree.  At the moment, I am researching ketamine's effects on intrinsic neural time scales for my third-year project, as well as assessing psychedelics' effects on memory for another of my modules. I was also on the committee last year and was involved in organising a number of academic events.
This year, I would love to be given the opportunity to join the committee again and increase the number of social events throughout the year, bringing a mixture of chill hangouts and party vibes while reaching out to events and venues for exclusive discounts for society members. On top of this, I would also like to collaborate more with other societies and open an easy communication channel to hear the needs and wants of society members.
