Hi there! My name is Hannah, I am a third-year nutrition and medical sciences student who is eager to introduce my creative writing style and innovative ideas to the society. Being interested in scientific journalism, I would be excited to use the monthly newsletter to showcase current developments in psychedelic research, in addition to communicating upcoming society events and engagements. Keeping up with the exponential growth of this field has become an interest of mine, and I'd be enthusiastic to continue my up-to-date tabs on research and external events (both within and beyond UCL) to signpost interested members. Working on updating SAP's website is another area I'm very interested in, and already have a few ideas! The first involves the inclusion of written summaries of our speaker events, either by myself or anyone else who is interested in contributing, to create a collection of study findings, understandings, and explanations for future retrospection. Additionally, this will help make information more accessible for any members living with a disability that might limit their in-person participation. Two other initiatives I'd like to carry out include re-establishing the journal club, a space for members to discuss psychedelic research with like-minded students, and using the website to signpost students to information on safe psychedelic use and addiction recovery resources (because let's face it, not all our website visits will be for academic interest)

thank you!
