I am standing to be the Inclusivity Officer for SAP because I’m deeply drawn to the interdisciplinary nature of psychedelic studies. The exploration of psychedelics extends beyond neuroscience or psychology, encompassing a wide array of disciplines and fields. As a postgraduate student in intellectual history at UCL from a non-traditional background, I am committed to fostering an inclusive environment within SAP that welcomes students from all areas and disciplines.

In the spirit of inclusivity and interdisciplinarity, I aim to help organize events and discussions that celebrate the diverse perspectives within psychedelic studies. My personal and academic interests in the history of philosophy and ontology shape my understanding of psychedelics, especially as I am fascinated by questions surrounding the nature of reality and the unconscious.

For me, the study of psychedelics must be inherently interdisciplinary.

I am particularly intrigued by the mystical experience and the nature of consciousness, viewing these through a lens that includes esoteric thought and phenomenological insights, which in turn integrates social, cultural, and intellectual dimensions.

Through SAP, I hope to create a space where others with non-traditional interests in psychedelics can find a welcoming community that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds.
