Hello everyone! My name is Arnav, and I am a third-year medical student excited to be running for Educational Lead for the Anatomy Society this year. Having navigated anatomy through my preclinical years in Medicine, I understand how detailed and challenging the subject is and how overwhelming it can be to learn. This, along with my deep passion for teaching, motivates me to create an enhanced learning experience where students can feel confident and engaged, learn to master complex material, and succeed in the field.
In this role, I aim to work with anatomy and radiology tutorial directors and our academic subcommittee to organise high-quality, interactive tutorials that make anatomy more accessible and easier to learn. The approach will focus on content summarisation, active learning techniques, and integrated case-based discussions to help bridge the gap between the theory and the clinical applications of anatomy. I am also committed to refining our academic resources to ensure they are clear, concise, and tailored to the needs of our students, continuously adapting based on the feedback we receive.
Overall, I hope to work towards designing tutorials and resources aligned with the curriculum, teaching anatomical concepts novelly using visual aids, and ensuring our society is a valued source for anatomy education in the years to come.
